About Jamie O'Hara Laurens
Jamie O’Hara Laurens is a writer of fiction, poetry and memoir. Born into a family of educators and ecologists, she is committed to missions in alignment with intelligent consumerism. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon’s professional writing program, Jamie has spent the last few years teaching writing and language, leading international service learning projects, and developing a prize-winning literary magazine. Her current projects include completing her first novel, which she plans to make available in the public domain for developing nations, translations of Mexican poets into French, and pursuing graduate work in writing and literature. Her work has recently been published The Refined Savage Review, Otium, and the upcoming journal Caguama.
